Use the correct airline website

Start from the official site of the airline shown on the reservation. Avoid unknown advertising links, and enter the surname with the same spacing and spelling used in the document.

Codeshares may have two references

A flight marketed by one airline and operated by another can carry separate references. If the first airline cannot find it, ask the issuing provider for the operating carrier’s reference.

What to check after it opens

Confirm the name, route, dates and passenger count. A “held” or “confirmed” status does not always mean the fare is paid; travellers also need an e-ticket number before flying.

Quick checklist

  • Use the airline’s official website.
  • Enter the PNR and surname exactly.
  • Check the operating airline on codeshares.
  • Review passenger, itinerary and status details.
